Vikram Vedha is a Hindi-language action thriller movie released on 30th September 2022. This film has Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan in the lead roles. The inspiration for the movie came from the popular tales of Vikram Betaal. It is a Hindi remake of the Tamil movie Vikram Vedha which has R. Madhavan in the lead role. Here are the top 5 reasons that I thought about the film.
1. The action in the movie
After a long time, I saw a good action movie. The scenes were well scripted and the action was at the top. The chase between a police officer and a criminal is always fun to watch. Both the actors have done a wonderful job in maintaining their physiques and challenging each other in the movie. Their fights were action-packed and amusing at the same time.
2. The character of Vedha in the film
What I liked about Vedha’s character was that it was not that of a typical criminal. He had his own story to tell since in the Vikram-Betaal tales also, Betaal has his stories to tell, it made sense. He was funny and witty and Hrithik made sure he was on the right track. His accent was also something that humorously portrayed him.
3. Saif Ali Khan as Vikram
Saif Ali Khan was portraying Vikram a cop in the movie. His role required him to be rough and tough which was exactly what he did. It was so amazing to watch his fighting scenes with Hrithik. He was impressive and showcased the qualities of a cop which was exciting to watch.
4. Hrithik Roshan’s dance moves in Alcoholia song
Is it possible if Hrithik Roshan is doing a film and there is no dance? The entire nation is crazy about Hrithik’s dance moves and he portrayed it in the song Alcoholia. I loved every ounce of it. It is not shocking that he dances with such speed. He is a god-gifted dancer. He was doing his dance moves with such ease.
5. The due together
Watching Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan together was like a treat for the audience. It was so refreshing! They are such fine actors and I loved their coordination to an extent that I was smiling throughout the movie. This is the second time they have come together after Na Tum Jaano Na Hum film. They should do more films together.
6. The thriller and suspense in the movie
The thriller and suspense in the movie were such that we were sitting glued to our seats. In the end, they leave us with a cliffhanger; the final judgment being that of the audience. In such movies, we don’t know what to expect and this is exactly what I love in the movie.
Conclusion
Hats off to the entire team of Vikram Vedha for conducting it in such a wonderful manner. I would say that you should go and watch the movie in the hall only. Do not wait for it to be released on OTT. My verdict for Vikram Vedha is 4/5. You must watch it! It has been released in the theatres and making such an impact, it would be there in the theatres for a long time!
